I have heard that the 94 ecu has got its problems. So I was wondering what other ecu options there were when it came to replacing one. I know the model #'s are different but does anyone know if that matters? A 5SFE ecu should "in theory" be similar from year to year with only engine options being a bit different.
So what ECU's are inner changeable with each other? |

Here are the links to the wiring diagrams I found for this just incase you need them
this one is a real Toyota Electrical Wiring diagram, even in color ![]() https://sites.google.com/site/resource6gc/Home https://sites.google.com/site/resource6gc/st202-4--resources and these are some BGB links from celicatech http://www.celicatech.com/bgbonline/94_6gm...ge%20charts.pdf http://bgbonline.celicatech.com/93celica/fi/voltohmmeter.pdf and a how-to de-pin the ecu plug http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=92693 What I did find consistent was the color of the Wires from year to year So even if you're not sure of which pin number a circuit should be on you can just look for the color -------------------- Bust a Deal; Face the Wheel.
