As some of you may know I and doing my head gasket and i wanted to regind some 5sfe camgears. My car is a DD but I want more power preferable at take off. I am wondering what grind I should go with? I plan on turboing it in the spring if I still have it. What other mods should I do when upgrading the cams? Whats the best bang for my buck. I am looking at upgrading the injectors with RX-7 315cc while i'm in there and maybe a safc management system. any input/ideas/suggestions?

How much for the safc2? I also forgot to mention I have 4-1 headers with a straight back exhaust plus a short ram intake... Delta cams said they can do a 264 regrind for $150 each. I was thinking of just doing the intake cam and leaving the exhaust cam stock.. any thoughts on that ?? What price was the colt cam's charging for the regrind?? and what was there max degree/size? Any thoughts on what degree/size would work best on this setup?? keeping in mind I will be boosting it in the spring if I have some cash then... -------------------- |
