The hybrid.
So I believe that the 98+ 5SFE block is suppose to be the strongest and is a direct mate with the rev3 3SGTE Head. Apart from the water jacket needing a bit of drilling? Looking at the comparisons I cant see the difference. Does anyone know? |

unless you plan on making more than 500 HP, you dont need a 98 block.
other than that its not a direct bolt on, there are some mods you need to do, and you need extra parts. Like 3S-GTE crank gear and sensors and ECU. the distributor is different so you need that too. -------------------- 2001 Celica GT-S Turbo
