I look at the GVW of my car and it was 3495 lbs! That is way too heavy for a small car like that. So.... I was wondering what the best way to free up some weight would be without sacrificing too much.
Cody EDIT: I JUST GOT MY FIRST BAR!!! YAY!!! *clears throat* anyways.... thanks for the help. This post has been edited by canyonking: Mar 14, 2004 - 12:26 PM |

Ehehehehe.... That's about the weight of a CRX... which a Celica definately isn't. Anyways... your car should weigh in the neighborhood of 2500-2600 pounds stock for an ST and a roughly 100 pounds or so more for a GT. Don't always believe the Factory curb dryweight listings. I've seen 6gc GT's weigh at the track as much as 2800 pounds and my ST weighed 2520 last time I weighed it with roughly 1/2 tank of gas, a full interior and 17inch rims. Only weight reduction was no spare tire no tools. -------------------- "It's ok to be naked girl... I'm an artist!"
1995 AT200 Celica ST: stocked out daily driver... 1984 AE86 Corolla GT-SR5: silvertop 20V 4AGE project car jacked up with goodies... 1991 SW2x MR2 n/a: bare bones hardtop model soon to be... |
