The hybrid.
So I believe that the 98+ 5SFE block is suppose to be the strongest and is a direct mate with the rev3 3SGTE Head. Apart from the water jacket needing a bit of drilling? Looking at the comparisons I cant see the difference. Does anyone know? |

I can't find the post but I remember seeing it had infos about the rev1 3sgte to rev4 3sgte. Also remember reading the rev1 had the strongest block out of the 4 revs.

I have heard in the past of people using a rev 2 blocks with rev 3 heads for modding since the older blocks where roumered to be stronger. However I cant find any compleated builds of that combination proving to be better. |
