So here's my Deal with Drumbum.
you can see the Add says "complete", everything pictured except the transmission. He wanted local pickup but I told him I was willing to pay for the shipping since he wasn't too far away, which I had priced at around $300. I didn't really want the Injen intake, because the stock CAI is still better than the silly Short ram that just makes it sound louder but I bought it anyway. so I gave him a total of $650 for Everything including the intake and Shipping by FedEx. Then he says he's had too much trouble with paypal and wants me to write him a check instead, fine so I did. So after waiting for my check to clear and asking him to send me a tracking number on the shipping he Then tells me that he has to mail a check for shipping off to his friend where the motor is sitting. He did not tell me in the first place that the motor was not with him and that would delay the shipping another week. Then he tells me that they took the Wirelimb off of the motor, I did ask if it was an ODB2 motor because mine is not but I expected to be able to use connectors from it to repair mine, or sell it to somebody else as the add says "everything included in the picture but the transmission." Then after two weeks he finally tells me its been shipped however he does not have a tracking number or freight bill number for it. and 3 days later I finnaly called FedEx myself to track it down just by the destination address, and they had been waiting on me to call and set up an appointment to have it delivered. So once it finally gets here we unpack it and find that not only has the wirelimb been removed but there is no exhaust manifold and no Intake manifold. the injen intake is there but the wire used to strap it to the pallet was stretched right across the $100 air filter and smushed it in. AND most annoying of all, My Brand New Alternator is not on the motor. I had expected to have the whole intake manifold including the throttle-body, TPS, ISCV, EGR and AC idle-up valve with it. and got none of that. and the distributor is busted, again I didn't need it but I expected to have lots of spare parts to either save or sell. I had hoped to get the flywheel, but I did ask him about that ahead of time and he told me he couldn't find it, so I'm OK with that. on the Plus side the clutch cover plate is there, if you've seen the pics of mine where they cut a chunk out of it to make the Camry oil pan fit. I sent txt to Drumbum and he seemed unaware that everything had been stripped from the motor, and I am giving him the benefit of the doubt since somebody else packed it up and shipped it. But I've sent him the Pics of how it looked and he has yet to respond with his intention to make it right. here's what it looked like when we got it off the truck. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() -------------------- Bust a Deal; Face the Wheel.
