Hi All,
I've started cleaning the engine bay and have noticed a couple of stuff that were never connected properly. Unfortunately I don't know where they go. I've attached pictures to highlight: ![]() The red box on the left seems to be a crankcase breather missing, simply replaced by a bolt... Any idea of the part number to order the original fitting? The left boxes show a disconnected (vacuum?) pipe, unfortunately I couldn't find out where the other end needs to go... Anyone have any idea please? |

I'm not 100% sure because my jp system uses a 2 hose from the TB to the charcoal canister, it basically loops itself around, once going through a sensor. It doesn't go into the charcoal canister but a hardline & sensor on the canister itself.
Well first things first (amaryllis) you need to decided if you can get/find the fitting for the intake manifold OR the the first piece of the intake manifold that has this part. Have a look at local wreckers or people parting out. If you can't then you're going to need something to block that hole off in the manifold as unfiltered air is entering & errors in senor readings. http://oilcatchcan.com/ I've only skimmed over this, but should hopefully help you understand a bit better. If you do go down this route make sure your can has some sort of screening or baffles in it not just an empty can, as they don't filter out the oil mist. -------------------- |
