Hi guys.
I have a set of JDM non-projector low beam and high beam headlights. They are the ones with the accent light bulb sockets. Since JDM cars are RHD, will I need to make changes to these headlights if I want to use them on my LHD car? The glass on these lens have a slightly different pattern also. Would that have any affect on my lighting in terms of LHD? If so, how much and should I worry? I would really prefer not to make any modifications to them if possible but don't want to blind oncoming traffic either. What are my options here? Thanks. |

Stock JDM lights are not DOT approved and will shine the light to the left (oncoming traffic) if you're driving on the right side of the road. If your inspection is picky like that (like my Out of Province safety inspection), you will need to get USDM low beams.
