Whats up people??? I have a question for everyone here. What do you think gives better performance when you do a custom 2.25 piping... A single muffler? or a dual muffler? Of course if you buy a full catback exhaust like the greddy SP for our GTs and STs you will get the best performance.

Thanks for the insightful input everyone. My first posting in the forum. Well I had a dual cannister DTM Tsudo muffler with a custom 2.25 exhaust piping on my celi and recently got into a accident when some dude hit me from behind. So my exhaust was all bent down and it just looked nasty. Piping was all messed up underneath the car but my back fender jus got a few scratchings. I look at the guy's 96 altima who hit me from behind and his front end was all smashed up to the point where his car was smoking from the engine. I was amazed how my fender was merely scratch and bruised. I guess my exhaust took most of the impact. Anyways to make a long story short.... I got money from his insurance and i bought myself a brand new black universal APEX N1 muffler and got a new magnoflow catalystic converter with the 2.25 piping with a 18" resonator to keep the sound to a purr. WOW!!!!What a difference this muffler makes. No more bubbling or gargling noises and no more droneing in the passenger area. I loved my DTM Tsudo but after some time it jus got louder and louder to the point where I was actually losing power. With this new apex I actually feel a little better response and it sounds very clean with the resonator on. less backpressure probably. So i got lucky by getting a new exhaust set up from the accident. Thanks!!!!!!
