Looking for 94-99 5SFE as a last ditch effort to get my car back on the road, some of you may have seen my for sale ad( I will remove that if i find a motor). i live in northern MI, and cant seem to find a decent deal, what am i not doing right?

dano,. I'm a Michigan resident too, and can tell you the 5fse can be had for about $250 all over our state,. There are at least 5 at the u-pull near me South of Lansing.
If you have the time to pull one, I'm sure I could help you,. otherwise, checkout clrds.com and setup a couple searches for Celica's and Camry's for less than 1000 and you will find plenty that are parting them out, many of which will pull the motor for you for $300,. Worst case scenario, I can pull you a motor and bring it to you, but that will cost you closer to 400,. Or I've got a 5fse sitting in one of my project cars right now, but it has 240k miles on it already, I could sell it to you but would recommend a full rebuild before doing anything with it.
