ok so i was reading some old posts and read that the st205 electronics read kilometers, which of course we all know. but i never grasped the fact that our odometers will change from miles to km (why cant the US be simple like the rest of the world)
i use my trip mileage a lot. will i need one of these signal converters to have it work like stock usdm? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOYOTA-SPEEDO-CO...les_CarParts_SM -------------------- |

The speedometer gets signal from a heat driven sensor on the trans. Since most people reuse their S54, it's exactly the same sensor as before. The E153 works perfectly, as does the sensor on my JDM S54. The speedo has no problem at all.
