As you know its getting colder and colder each week do you you guys warm your car before taking off if so for how long and does it matter to warm it or not

Also synthetics do a better job of not thickening when cold. Being you're in Houston how bad can winter really be?
 The best thing to do in extreme cold would be to use a block warmer.
