Hey all, been a car audio enthusiast for quite some time now and wanted to start a thread for posting pictures of your car audio setup.
I currently have a JVC in-dash DVD 7", purposely bought the non touch screen so people wouldn't dirty the screen up.
Speakers are stock and always have been, they work great, my deck has a built in hpf and they already sound great.
As for subwoofer setups I've been all over, my very first setup in the celica was a 12" MTX 9500 hooked up to a Hifonics Brutus 1600watt rms amp, then the amp fried(sub was too power hungry even with a 1 farad cap). So then sold that and got 3 8" JL W6's, one of the tinsel leads came undone eventually and got rid of those too, traded for a xbox360 and a bunch of games. After about a year I finally decided to get a new subwoofer setup. Guy here on base was lazy and didn't want to throw his setup in his new car so he sold it to me. I currently have a 12" Alpine Type R hooked up to a 1000watt RMS Alpine amp. I'll tell you this current setup is cleaner than my others, it isn't as loud but I'm more for SQ more that SPL now.
