Just a quick question all, replaced my old cluster globes for LED's in my st204, but only the tacho is working and the dimmer for the dash lights is not working either (stays the same brightness). Any suggestions from the electrically inclined, would be greatly appreciated smile.gif

Much appreciated, I rotated 180 and LED's now work, checked the dimmer again and you are correct Noah, works with normal globes but not with the LED's, but fortunately the lighting is at a good spot, so I'm lucky there. Also I found that rebending the earth contacts on the plug helped as well and a gave them better contact with the plastic board. Thanks again for the replies smile.gif

Like end said adding material under the contacts helps, but what did was pill the two contacts so they were straight, and then dip them in a bit of hot solder, hold it for a about 5 seconds then pull out and clean up the trails by touching it with a soldering iron tip. Or you can just wrap electrical tape around the plastic bit and then bend the contacts back on top of the tape. I know spree sells good kits. You can also check jtech britelites on Amazon the price is pretty good there. And of course superbright leds
