Ok today coming home from work, before i pulled into my garage stall i noticed a puddle of stuff on the ground. I got out to see what it was, and to my suprise it was motor oil... the puddle was about the size of a basketball, and the situation was not looking to good seeing as i just cleaned my spot the day before, so i know the leaking had just started... So I opened my hood to find little droplets of oil sprayed all over everything on the front left side of the underhood area... I checked my dipstick, everything turned out normal, so i started the car up. Then i notice a thin stream of oil smoke coming from the now oil sprayed area... Anyways i just got back from the dealer about an hour ago so they can tell me whats wrong. I have no idea what is wrong here and im worried this is going to be expensive... Grrr...

Why do you crazy people go to dealerships?

Most small shops will give you a free estimate..

nothing like paying someone $85 for them to tell you that your car is leaking oil and that they have to tear the motor down to find the leak for an additonal $250

NO kidding, I have a shop I go to, they are awesome, they'll look at my car any time for free, give me discounts if its going to be expensive or it cost more then they thought it would.
