Hey all,
I am having Rockford Fosgate P142 4" and PPS4-8 8" speakers installed in the doors. I have too limited skills with doors to do it myself. Should I purchase upgraded speaker wire or use what is already there? Has anyone installed Fosgate PPS4-6 6.75" speakers in the rear? Would P165s 6.5" components work better? I might be able use the tweets in the doors. What else works? I have a set amount of funds that will either get the rears swapped out or to have a Fosgate P300-12 powered subwoofer (300 watt RMS) installed in the trunk of my vert. Using the stock 8 speaker amp. I am not stuck on Fosgate, they appear to be the best option in most cases for what I have to spend. Saving 33-50% on eBay. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Installing speakers is very easy to do. You can do it yourself.
There are how-to's in the stickies for installing speakers, or numerous how-to's all over the internet. The door panels are easy to remove and mounting the speakers is a breeze. -------------------- "Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings, so that you shall gain easily what others labored hard for." -Socrates.
