 CV Joint Removal |

Hi all,
Will the front outer cv joint knock off the axle? I want to replace the boot without removing the whole axle if possible. Thanks |

The inner joint comes apart and the boot get slipped over the shaft for the outer it's not removable. But I've seen universal boots that are 2 halfs and snap together over the shaft they are really bad though and leak grease. Your better off getting a lifetime warranty cv shaft and replacing the whole thing.
