 Alternator problem ? |

so yesterday on my way home from work, my battery light went on.
just a little while longer my headlights went off as I felt my car losing power. eventually my car died and had it towed to my house. this morning I decided to look into it and noticed a burning smell from the alternator. so I disconnected it and found this :   I took the alternator to test and its fine. I bought a new battery and still no juice. seems like I might have a short somewhere but I don't know where to start .. any ideas ? thanks . -------------------- 94' Celica GT Manual |

I can almost guarantee that u blew the fusible link it's a 100 amp fuse in the fuse box under the hood just an FYI it doesn't pull out it bolts in so u have to remove the fuse panel from the plastic cover it's real easy tho just a couple of plastic tabs that need to be pushed out..and it should b problem solved
