I've always liked the idea of ITB's on a BEAMS, but have been put off by cost (quoted $2500).

Just found these 4AGE ones. I know they don't fit straight on, but there are many posts on the internet about ways to use them;

And then I could get a 1ZZ Power FC to run it.

Think its worth it?

wont work, first off the 1ZZ Power FC wants a MAF sensor. using ITB's there is no MAF sensor. Unless you create a plenum that contain the ITB's and have a tube feeding it. but that will defeat the purpose.
