Hey guys,
I wanna change the look of my exhaust with a universal muffler. What do I need to look for in terms of specs? Do i need to change piping if I use a universal or can I use stock pipes? What determines the loudness and depth of a exhaust? Hole size? Thanks for putting up with my lack of intelligence! PS I dont want a loud buzzing civic noise outta my exhaust! |

if you want to change the look, without changing the sound to much and without new piping go with pretty much any "smaller" size straight through universal muffler. This is however not a "bolt on" accesory, it needs to be welded on, and your muffler shop can make a "down pipe" if your muffler inlet is bigger then your stock exhaust.
