 Universal Muffler, what do i look for? |

Hey guys,
I wanna change the look of my exhaust with a universal muffler. What do I need to look for in terms of specs? Do i need to change piping if I use a universal or can I use stock pipes? What determines the loudness and depth of a exhaust? Hole size? Thanks for putting up with my lack of intelligence!  PS I dont want a loud buzzing civic noise outta my exhaust! |

also, sound is generally derived from number of outlets and number of restrictors...
if you can see straight through the muffler, it'll be louder, and if there's two outlets, a lot louder, but if there's any kind of wall/obstruction inside, it will dampen the sound. --------------------  |
