Was browsing on ebay and found a jdm auto climate control for $65 +shipping.

It's something I've researched like so many others, then came to the decision that it just wasn't worth my efforts unless I were to import a split car from the other side of the world giving me everything.
I've also debated on using an arduino as a "man in the middle" to eliminate and simulate the requests then transfer those requests via stepper motors and programming to what I would want from the hvac. This is what I would do to integrate it into a carputer, or tablet and eliminate or relocate the current controls. |
