About 20 minutes ago I had a wicked scare. Was doing 105 in a 65.. it's a really long nice stretch of highway where there's never really cops around except at night. 4 lanes wide.. no reason not to. So I'm speeding up and I realize the guy on a bike up ahead is a cop, with radar out and everything, pointed on me.. I slam the brakes and realize that I'm only at about 80mph as he passes me. I keep braking and get to about 70mph when I'm 1/2 mile up from him and there's an exit coming up really soon. I look in my rearview mirror and he's peeling out with his lights on. I'm like "oh fcuk", take the exit and a quick right into a residential area, start getting lost. I lose him I suppose.. let's hope I don't get anything in the mail. In TX, it's the same.. over 100 and you get a day/night in jail.
