My reverse lights haven't been working since i got the car. Already replaced bulbs, no luck. I have an extra s54 that i can take a switch out of, just need to know what size socket i have to buy

Okay, ive taken off both the fill and drain plug on my transmission. Not the same size as reverse switch.
I have all socket sizes from 3mm up til 19mm and 15/16. NONE of them fit. i also have a 30mm axle nut socket and its too big. so its gotta be between 20 and 29mm.
