Has anybody had an experience with something like this? I know it be a variety of things but if you have any familiarity with this, could you please help me! The car drops down to about 100rpm and stays there, but it's completely fine at a stop on the road. I thought that it was because it was cold, but it seems to happen randomly because after various stops and re-ignitions it happens. I already tried turning up the rev thing on the motor so it could "rev at a higher rpm" but it still does it. And it's really annoying. Please help!

All EGR does is reduce NOx emissions. For years engines didn't have them, the latest example I can think of is the 1.6 Miata from '90-93 which doesn't have an EGR system. Though it had been implemented as early as the mid 70's for a lot of vehicles. If you don't have emissions if it ever goes bad might as well remove it instead of spending an asinine amount of money to repair it. Just make sure you properly block things off.
