So ive looked around and havent really found a proper forum that covers rebuilding the 5sfe, everyone just wants a rebuild with turbo or swapping out for faster parts. I just want a simple rebuild, keep everything stock so i can sell it later for a 3sge cause its my daily car at the moment.
Ive been looking at the gasket kits and reseal kits on ebay and wanted to know if those were any good or should I just stick with oem but is it worth it spending alot of money staying oem when when ebay gaskets are almost just as good. I just need a list of what I am looking at to buy and how much im looking to spend. Just want a stock rebuild nothing crazy Help and much appreciated |

Sam -
I rebuilt 3 5SFEs at the same time last year for the race car.. I can probably help you out with pointers and cost estimations, The only way to really answer this question is if first you tell the forum why you are rebuilding the engine? -------------------- -Mike
