 S-AFC Apexi, ...Worth it? |

Hey guys...i am about to get a tax return that will be enough for an apexi S-AFC and i was wondering if it is worth it before i just drop the 400 bucks on it? How much of a difference will i notice?...how much time would i drop at the track? Is it hard to install?? How would i tune this to my engine? or would you guys sugest i take it to a shop and have them install it and tune it as well? would dyno tuneing work?...sorry its alot of questions guys but i 400 dollars is alot of money to just throw away without knowing any info on the item! Thanks alot guys,

what other mods do you have? a properly tuned S-AFC on a GT with i/e would probably give you 15-20 hp. the key is proper tuning, you need some time on a dyno inorder to properly set it, or you will have minimal gains or even losses if you really screw it up. its a sound investment but I would invest in other things first, for example a underdrive pulley or header. but its up to you.
also fyi, 400 for a s-afc is a bit of a rip-off. look for something in the ~300 range. |
