i know this is a 6th gen page but i found a 5th ten for really cheap and it has no engine soooo what are the chances a 1j would fit ?

The 1JZ is an inline 6. With a FWD car, it won't fit transverse since it's way too long. The only way to fit one would be to do a RWD swap and have it sit longitudinal. It would be a complete custom swap that would end up being tens of thousands of dollars to build as well as investing a lot of time if you were to do it yourself.
The 3sgte is a very good engine and will give you some decent power stock. If you find a gen2 3sgte, it would be a bit more simple to swap in than any other generations of the 3s engines because it was made to be in the alltrac. (Wiring is a bit more similar) Just search about, there are a bunch of threads on engine swaps on here. Also there is a 5th gen Celica page on facebook and they would also be pretty helpful.
