Hey guys.
I am in the process of turbocharging my UK Spec 3SGE. I have a spare sump pan (see pic) that I would like to drill for AN10 fitting. ![]() I have never used these fittings before. My question is can I do this without welding? Also is it worth tapping the pan for an oil temperature sensor? I'd like to see pics of your drilled pans please. Many thanks, Jason. |

I wouldn't put the oil return in the lower oil pan, the return should be above the oil level so it can flow freely. You should try to get a fitting in the upper aluminum oil pan.
