So the 5SFE in my 94 has unfortunately died and I'm possibly looking at replacing it with a 5S out of a 96 Camry. The only issue I have with that is the 96+ are OBDII instead of the OBDI in my Celi.
How hard is it to swap the engine and everything over? -------------------- 2007 Impreza 2.5i - Daily

I swapped the motor and Trans out of my first celica after it was totaled ( a 97gt) into a 95gt.
Honestly I found it to be more of a pain to trace the wire for the obd out of the 97 than it was to swap the motor I didn't notice very many if any differences. Although I have to admit I wasn't looking for them either. I had all the parts I needed less than 10 feet away from me though. All in all it took me about 24 hrs to completely swap both motors the computers and get the odb2 working correctly . Every time I get the emissions done the guys always ask me what I did to make the car run so clean, I smile and pull up torque while watchingtthem scratch their heads. -------------------- 97 Celica GT liftback DD/ project
