So opening the super strut shock to find out Toyota decided to use a hydraulic cartridge instead of the gas cartridge found in the McPherson set up.
I saw one video from YouTube and I only understood that hydraulic allows for a smoother and less harsh ride when strut rebounds. Is this true. Anybody else have any thoughts? -------------------- Group buy to replicate Narrow E series transaxle parts

I saw one video from YouTube and I only understood that hydraulic allows for a smoother and less harsh ride when strut rebounds. Is this true. Anybody else have any thoughts? Yeah it makes big potholes a lot more bearable. The difference is small though with handling, you probably wouldn't know the difference unless you were told what to look for. Also I was told the hydraulic ones last longer, but I'm not 100% sure about that. |
