good day peep im having problems starting my redtop beams i have taken the head away to engineering as my cotter jumped out got it back everything was perfect assembled everything put my timing on tdc every was on tap and i wanted to start it swing like there was no compression..i was told it was cam or valve timing when i disassembled the motor i mistakenly took the vvti gear apart but go it back together...can my vvti gear/pully cause my car not to start as its jumping timing please help!!!!!

The vvti cam gear is not supposed to be pulled apart & apparently quite hard to get back together again at all, so surprise you managed to.
Have you done a compression test, any spark, loose grounds, cam angle sensor turned 180degs? Which timing belt did you use? -------------------- |
