tried googling and found little information, I recently purchased a front clip and while taking things apart, I found:

it suppose to be better tune, but how do you know what the setup are without a documentation of what they have tuned the ecu for....setting wise?

im sure someone has a tom's ecu in their st205

Yes that's correct I have a Tom's ecu. I think the only one here with a remapped ecu? No one had a mines or a blitz?

I tired messaging Tom's ages ago when I bought my ecu, but didn't get much of a response. I did however get a response from another company that did 'remapped' for the ST202/205 celicas in Japan. IMEC or ICode as they are now known as, stated..

1 Ignition timing adjustment
2 Fuel increase in quantity.
3 speed limiter cut of 180km.

There is also the possibility of a higher rev cut, and since yours is turbo'd I'd expect to see some boost changes. But it depends on what the customer wanted. These were fitted & custom tuned to each car (info off Tom's website) Usual fitted to vehicles with light modifications such as intake, exhaust, possible mild camshaft work etc.

While these ecus may not give massive amounts of peak hp increases, it does clean up the entire rev range(increases across the full rev range) making it more responsive. Where I am from we don't have any sorts of emissions testing, but I did get mine AF ratio /exhaust o2 reading, he said these were impressive figures (would like to compare results with you USA guys)

Would be interesting to see with a boost gauge, what is happening with boost.

Great find btw smile.gif
