You guys been lots of help since I joined this forum and can't thank you guys enough and I'm here again asking for help
Well here's what happen I drove home from work which is a 45 min drive I went to the store and when I tried leaving I turned the car on and it did turn on but died instantly it did the same thing 3 times and on the 4th try I pressed on the gas lightly and then it stayed on . What can I check to diagnose the problem thanks |

I looked at your pictures to figure out that you have a Fed spec car, and not cali spec, because your ignition coil is inside of the distributor and not externally mounted on the firewall.
Had the same thing happen to me a few years back, I would say it's the coil on your car because they usually die right after start up. You can look up how to test the coil online, it's really simple. Replaced mine with one from autozone and it worked perfectly fine. |
