are you sure about the gap?
mine has a gap when i held them up(for hatchback), but when i bolted them on there was only a slight gap on the very end(opposite side even) if not, i think you might be better off shifting the bolt inside the wheel well other than adding fiberglass(will stick out from rest of car a lot) --------------------  |
