After finishing my stereo yesterday this morning I came out and tried to start the car and the car needed to be jumped.

After I jumped it, I shut it off and then turned it back on (the battery had no time to charge) and then it started right up. My step dad said that it probably wasnt the battery being dead if it started back up.

The battery is 3 years old should I just replace it and see if that solves the problem?

Also is running a power wire to the stereo from the battery a constant drain on it?

Whats the best way to attach a power wire.

thanks all

yeah clipse thats how I have it except no inline fuses yet...

I dont think the stock amps are staying on because I know all the plugs are un plugged from the 1st amp... tomorrow I will disconnect the rest of the wires from the under drivers seat amp
