So I decided to go to a party. When I got back there were foot prints up and down my car and a dent in the roof. This was two days before I was getting my alarm installed.
Yarg. So I pulled out the ceiling trim and now I got just bare metal... I know the standard practice is to "hammer it out." But I don't want to start hammering without some advisement. Will it pop right back out? Should I just take it to a repair place? -------------------- ![]() |

If the dents arent creased, than get a rubber mallet, and a hard plastic hand sander base (the black palm grip for sandpaper) put the palm sander part on the paint side of the dent, and lightly try to tap out the dent from the inside with the rubber mallet.
