Hi! First post on the forum after lingering around for a few weeks. A few weeks ago I purchased my new to me 1994 Celica 2.0. It has 95k kilometres on the clock and is a stunner!
3 things that I want changed is the suspension, wheels and making more rigid. Wheels have been sorted and I think I know what offsets and spacers I will need for he look I want, sway bars and strut braces are yet to be looked into further but I wanted to ask about coilovers. I've read through the sticky where yes, there is a list of kits but there is no feedback and a lot don't have prices. I have a budget of upto £600 for coils unless someone has some second hand they want to separate with. What would the UK guys recommend? Our roads are pretty dismal at the beat of times so nothing too firm and I want roughly 20-30mm drop as I need the car to be practical still. I will be making a kinda build thread when I start getting and collecting more parts for her so everyone and I can keep a record and see the changes that will happen. Matt |

Basically if your going for looks cheap coilovers, performance Koni lowering springs. You don't see people track cheap coilovers for a reason. On the other hand many people use Koni with lowering Springs on the track. Some people swear by Megan coilovers on this forum but I've personally never tried them. I'd rather go Springs and struts but that's me. Koni are lifetime warranty. Cheap coilovers only last so long. Some people might get 20 months others might get 20 miles.
