I am a celica freak, I want to take a 5sfe block and build a full race motor. I also want to rework the rear and create space for an awd system. Was wondering if anyone has attempted this yet? If so what problems did you encounter and tips for finding parts. All work will be done by me and my friend who is a certified mechanic.

The only way you're going to get away with running that kind of power on a somewhat reliable basis is to get a custom block machined, and at that point it's not a 5S-FE anymore, it's a hunk of billet with water jackets and cylinder liners pressed into it.

Most people who would ACTUALLY do something like this wouldn't come to an enthusiast forum to ask for help and opinions.
These unimaginable feats are usually performed by engineers from race-teams funded by eccentric millionaires.
