I need to start thinking about replacing the oem stereo and speakers in my 95 Celica. Everything is stock original as far as I know, and amazed it has lasted this long, but it's slowly failing. I have looked for the answer in other sites, but nothing concrete about speaker sizes needed and head unit/shelf options. Mine has the sub, and mid in the door with the mini tweet below the mirror. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

8" sub, 4" mid-driver, and 1" tweeter all in the doors and then the quarter panel speakers are 6.5" mid-drivers. Sites like www.sonicelectronix.com or www.crutchfield.com can help with finding what's in your needed size, resistance, and price range. Then you can cross shop on eBay and Amazon etc... for the best prices. You can put in a single or double DIN stereo, but with a single DIN you'll need a cover plate or storage pocket to fill out the space. There are a million and one ways to go about it, just really depends on how much you want to spend and how high of a quality sound you want.
