This is the first time that I know of in the past 70 thousand miles this happened. Was going up a hill, stopped at a stop sign, hit the gas and the revs went up but the car was in neutral until it figured out it wasn't supposed to be and then down shifted into the right gear.
Anyone else ever had this happen? -------------------- Brand new 6gc owner! (sort of 2011)

sounds like a solenoid going out. Had this problem before, when the problem happens your tranny light must be going off too i bet? My car used to be automatic a long time ago.
