 Does the ciggarette lighter have a fuse in it |

I was running something off my ciggarrette lighter and blew out a fuse. I checked all of my fuses under the hood and in the car and they are all good. Does anyone know if there is a fuse in the ciggarrette lighter?

Well this is an old post but what the hey, the cigarette lighter has a meltable link on the back under a rubber cover, it goes between the two terminals. When mine went out just recently, I cut it out and soldered a very thin wire -something like 22 or 24 gauge wire in it's place. |
