I am going to do this mod that when you push a button, your door "pops" open. Seperate buttons for seperate doors, but on the same control unit. The unit will be about the size of a alarm key chain thing. But my main question is: Does anyone know about shaving our door handles?? I need to do this for it to complete the look I'm going for! Thanks!

The solenoid has a wire running to it for power going to the brain. You splice another wire into this wire. This wire you run hidden to the outside of your car. Alot of people hide it behind their license plate. If your battery dies, you can get some jumper cables and touch the body(ground) to the negative terminal of the battery and the hidden wire running out to positive
terminal of the battery for a second. This will pop your door open. I have even seen it done with a marquita drill battery. You might be able to do it with a large flashlight. This is an old trick people dont post to often so it dont fall into the wrong hands, if you know what I mean! Hope this helps
