So last weekend I was driving, and from traffic lights I tried to do a bit faster start, but not full 100% as road was wet and I have winter tires on, and front right drive axle broke in half. It is a bit weird, but main problem is that car doesn't move now.
So question: are drive axles between AT200 (1.8L) and ST202 (2.0L) interchangable? As 1.8L models are much more commont to find in scrap-yards than 2.0L models here in Latvia? Or do I only have option of 2.0L drive axles? Thanks for the help, guys! |

The 1.8's come bolted to a C series trans, and the axles are not interchangeable between the two. Unfortunately you'll have to find a replacement axle from a 2.0.
