Came Close to trading in my ST, with 2006 350Z Options

This past Saturday I saw a 2006 Convertible at a local dealer and went to check it out. they offered $2000 for my car in trade in but would not reduce the price on the Z. Upon further check in I found that2006 Zs have a oil consumption issue on earlier manufactured models. Also have CSC (Concentric Slave Cylinder) failure issues due to plastic parts. So good thing that I did not buy that car. I offered a decent price but they would not come down due to low miles on the car. I had a strange feeling of betrayal.

Ye the '04-06 rebadged Monaro. I wouldn't call them little but they're good cars. Personally I'd go for one over a S197 Mustang, 5th gen Camaro, or Challenger. That and how much cheaper than the S550 Mustang and 6th gen Camaro they are, even if I had the money I might still go with the GTO given how big the price difference is and what all you could do with that. The '04 can be had for good value since it's the LS1 and not the LS2, that and it has the less popular hood and rear bumper but I like the less aggressive looking '04 personally.
