If you don't want to roll fenders, that limits you a lot in size. You're giving up about an inch or so of track width in the rear without rolling. Front isn't as important since it essentially factory rolled.
Without stretching tires and without rolling, you'd probably be limited to a 7-7.5" max wheel width. For an illustration, I have 17x8 +35 wheels and 235/45 tires. I had to roll the rear fenders and push back the tabs in the front fender. I used to have 215/40 tires on the same wheel with no clearance issues, but they were a bit stretched. 215/40 is more for a 7-7.5" wide wheel. I plan on getting 17x8 +25 wheels with 10mm spacers in the rear soon (same tires). I will have to completely roll the fender and make sure the rear and front fender lips are folded back. Will 18x7.5s with a 45 offset and 225/40/18 tires fit? I cant find any specifics, just ideas, and unfortunately I'm not smart enough to extrapolate **** apparently. |
