 P0773 code 96 convertible, CEL can't get inspected |

Short and skinny.
Problem: check engine light. Car starts but you need to give it gas when its cold for the idle to even out. Code is P0773. Apparently a solenoid in the tranny? What the **** do I do here? Bought the car for 900 bucks. Brand new top no rust, minimal body damage... 139k miles on it. Great deal. It drives and shifts perfect. It does make a very high pitched whine under heavy acceleration... That's all I know so far. |

Any idea on where to find the parts. Rock auto seems kind of generic, I don't want to get the wrong thing with the tranny apart... Also, Do you think that is why the car doesn't start when its cold, it just turns on and idles down to off... If I give it gas, it levels out and runs fine from there... |
