Short and skinny.
Problem: check engine light. Car starts but you need to give it gas when its cold for the idle to even out. Code is P0773. Apparently a solenoid in the tranny? What the **** do I do here? Bought the car for 900 bucks. Brand new top no rust, minimal body damage... 139k miles on it. Great deal. It drives and shifts perfect. It does make a very high pitched whine under heavy acceleration... That's all I know so far. |

Update:
Changed out the two solenoids in the tranny, filled with 2.5 quarts of dextron 4. Code is still there. I clear the code turn it off and start it back up and the code is still there. I noticed the fluid that came out was brown brown, and really runny. Does anyone know what the part is for the solenoid in the video? |
