 P0773 code 96 convertible, CEL can't get inspected |

Short and skinny.
Problem: check engine light. Car starts but you need to give it gas when its cold for the idle to even out. Code is P0773. Apparently a solenoid in the tranny? What the **** do I do here? Bought the car for 900 bucks. Brand new top no rust, minimal body damage... 139k miles on it. Great deal. It drives and shifts perfect. It does make a very high pitched whine under heavy acceleration... That's all I know so far. |

Ok so I changed the solenoids in the tranny and they were fine. Changes the one in the first video and instantly off.
Note: I did not have to uninstall the neutral control switch. I only had to loosen the bolts on the switch and I was able to get the socket on the solenoid bolts. Code is clear! |
