Yes! It is real. Bought this from Bulletproof automotive over 10 years ago. It has some scratches but who cares? it is in the back. It is aluminum and weighs nearly nothing. Bolts right up and makes a solid noticeable difference for hatchbacks. First one to cough up $200 +Shipping can have this rare part. Let me know if you have any questions.
